Course Description
Enhance the performance of your measuring, mapping, modeling, and monitoring by tapping the power of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Learn the concepts that drive GIS, the basics of cartography, and the differences between various GIS packages. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to: . - Registered students will be able to access the course material three days prior to the course start date to ensure students can upload the required course software (QGIS); advanced registration is recommended for student success.
- This course delivery format is bichronous. 100% of course content is delivered online. Students engage in both asynchronous learning, coupled with scheduled synchronous sessions throughout the course. The asynchronous dates course cover course work/assessments in between synchronous sessions and post-course assessments.
