Course Description
Knowing how to initiate, lead, and manage successful change initiatives is valuable for leaders at all levels. Topics may include: change theories and models; change management strategies; initiating and implementing change; and organizational and individual learning associated with change experiences.Who Should Take This Course?
Aimed at emerging leaders, supervisors, and mid-level managers who seek to move up within their organization by improving their leadership skills.Learner Outcomes
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- Recognize the concepts within various change models.
- Apply Kotter’s Accelerate 8-Step Model to a case study and assess reasons for change failure.
- Describe the difference between leading and managing change.
- Evaluate the different elements of change from a leadership perspective.
- Consider what change capability means to an organization.
- Explain and analyze the Change Framework: Evaluate – Strategize – Plan – Execute – Sustain.
- Construct the elements of a high functioning leadership team.
- Apply systems thinking to identify solutions and implement change.
