This course is offered in partnership with Dr. Jasnett Parmar’s Caregiver-Centred Care initiative (caregivercare.ca). It combines the first two asynchronous learning modules from caregivercare.ca followed by a hand-on simulation experience.
Students will engage with pre-recorded video lectures and carefully curated readings designed to deepen their understanding of team-based collaborative care in various healthcare settings. The course also introduces the concept of simulation learning activities, explaining their significance and how they serve as a "key learning component" in future courses in the Team-Based Collaborative Care Certificate.
Learners who have already completed Level 1 and Level 2 on caregivercare.ca and hold a certificate of completion may enroll directly in the simulation activity. Upon successful participation, they will earn a badge recognizing their knowledge, skills, and commitment to caregiver-centred care.
