Course Description

Stretch your generative and creative abilities as you integrate the knowledge you acquired in the previous core courses and apply theory and method to research, plan, execute, present, and review a real-world project. Mirroring industry practice, you will work as part of a team, operate within an Agile project management framework, and evaluate the features of this approach.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

  • 🗸 Extend knowledge of UX/UI design and apply principles to a real-world project.
  • 🗸 Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and project stakeholders.
  • 🗸 Establish and practice functional routines, self-organization, and creative problem solving within a team environment.
  • 🗸 Apply understanding of user research, rapid prototyping and hypothesis generation, user testing, data analysis and validation in an iterative fashion.
  • 🗸 Create research-backed recommendations for improvements to an existing real-world user experience and clearly communicate recommendations to project stakeholders.
