Association of Administrative Professionals (AAP)

The Canadian Certified Administrative Professional Programs, sponsored by the AAP, are among the many options available to professionals seeking to advance their administrative skills and careers. There are two programs, the Canadian Certified Administrative Professional (CCAP) and the Canadian Certified Administrative Professional Associate (CCAPA), that are designed for administrative professionals.

Members are encouraged to earn either certification by meeting the requirements of the applicable program’s components. Both certifications have educational, membership, and experience components, and both require certification renewal once they are obtained.

Canadian Certified Administrative Professional (CCAP) | Canadian Certified Administrative Professional Associate (CCAPA)

The CCAP programs comprise seven (7) AAP courses: four (4) compulsory and three (3) elective. The University of Alberta Online & Continuing Education unit offers 6 courses - three (3) of the compulsory courses and all of the elective courses. All of which must be successfully completed so you can apply for the designation.
