Canadian Construction Association
The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) is the national organization representing Canada’s construction industry. It brings together contractors, trade contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and construction-related service providers to advance industry standards, support workforce development, and advocate on behalf of the sector. Through leadership in best practices, policy, and professional certification, such as the nationally recognized Gold Seal Certification, CCA plays a central role in strengthening the construction industry across Canada.
Gold Seal Certification
Gold Seal Certification (GSC) is the Canadian Construction Association’s nationally recognized certification program for construction management professionals. It validates both industry experience and demonstrated competency, providing employers and project owners with assurance that certified individuals meet consistent, high standards of professional practice across Canada.

- All courses (core and elective) in the U of A’s Construction Management & Administration Certificate are Gold Seal-accredited by the Canadian Construction Association, meeting the national standards for professional development in Canada’s construction industry.
