Program Description
This program aims to prepare current and future managers of Early Childhood Education services to assume the strategic, administrative, and human responsibilities associated with leadership in the field. Through the three courses within this certificate, learners develop the knowledge and skills required to ensure effective governance, sound operational and financial management, and compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. The program also emphasizes motivational, ethical, and inclusive leadership, particularly within a Francophone minority-language context. By strengthening competencies in communication, human resource management, collaboration with families and community partners, and inclusive pedagogical leadership, the program seeks to support the creation of safe, equitable, and sustainable early childhood environments that are deeply connected to their communities and responsive to the needs and well-being of children.

What You'll Earn
- 🗸 After completing each course, learners will receive a digital badge. Once all certificate requirements are met, learners will be awarded a digital parchment. Both digital badge and parchment are securely delivered through MyCreds.
- The program consists of three courses. Each course is 20 hours in length, for a total of 60 instructional hours.
- Learners are encouraged to take Courses 1, 2, and 3 in sequence. However, there are no prerequisites between courses, and learners may take them in any order or enroll in multiple courses at the same time if desired.
- Grading is based on three assessments, one per course, in the form of quizzes. The passing grade for each assessment is 70%.
- The courses are Self-Paced Asynchronous, online. It is a flexible online learning experience where you work through the course materials and activities at your own pace. More info about online delivery formats can be found here. There are no real-time virtual classroom sessions to attend.
- Course materials are shared through ConEd Canvas, the University’s Learning Management System.
- The instructors are more than educators and adult learning specialists. They are specialists in Early Childhood Education Management.
- Please note that continuing education classes are not eligible for student loans.

- Approximate cost of the program: $1,200 ($400 per course).
- Flexible payment options: register and pay for all courses at once or pay course-by-course as you go.
- Courses are GST-exempt.
- The graduates from this program can receive recognition from the Early Childhood Education. The participant would obtain 3 credits for course EPE 201 (L'organisation d'un service de garde - Organizing a Daycare Service) if they enroll in the Early Childhood Education Diploma. - International Students are welcome to enroll and pay the same course fees as local students.
- Proficiency in French and a stable internet connection are needed to participate and succeed in our courses.
