EXSM 3932 - HTML
Course Description
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of HTML (HyperText Markup Language), the foundational markup language used for structuring content online. The basics of building a webpage using HTML, as well as up-to-date best-practices with the most recent HTML specification will be covered.
This course may be eligible for the Canada-Alberta Productivity Grant (CAPG), with final approval determined by CAPG administrators. Employers and applicants can review the CAPG guidelines and full details on the University of Alberta’s Continuing Education website.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- 🗸 Demonstrate an understanding of the HTML language via writing modern and standards-compliant HTML5 code.
- 🗸 Create and format web pages with both text and image content.
- 🗸 Use a command-line interface to navigate a project and add version-control to a project.
