EXFRM 2726 - Adult Wheelchair and Seated Mobility
Course Description
This comprehensive online course provides rehabilitation professionals with the clinical and technical expertise necessary to address complex seating and mobility needs.
This course covers theoretical models guiding seating practice, client-centered assessment, common wheelchair types, wheelchair setup for effective propulsion, common seating components, goal setting, and management of commonly encountered postural deformities. Participants will gain a better understanding of the factors involved in client assessment and wheelchair/seating prescription.
