Course Description
Advanced skills in applied social research are in high demand across occupations. Through a set of modules that emphasize applied, multi-method, and community-driven research, this course helps participants build expertise in research design, multiple methods, and knowledge mobilization. The immersive experiential learning environment strengthens partnerships across disciplines and sectors, providing multiple opportunities to apply integrative research approaches.

Notes
- 🗸This intensive one-week in-person institute will cover all stages of the research process, from research design and data collection to data analysis and knowledge mobilization. To prioritize social impact and hands-on learning, the ASRMI will integrate applied and community-engaged research projects into the modules. Examples, exercises, and assignments will all be associated with ongoing research provided by community partners.
