Course Description
Mental health influences every aspect of occupational participation and well-being, making it a critical area of occupational therapy (OT) practice. This course provides an overview of occupational therapy practice in mental health, introducing the foundational knowledge, evidence-based practices, and resources used to support individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and ADHD. You will also examine regulatory requirements, assessment tools, and psychosocial and occupation-based interventions that support mental health practice.
