Course Description

This is an interdisciplinary course based on the premise that managerial decision-making is dynamic. The scope of business decision-making requires and understanding of business issues, human resources, managerial functions, business ethics and responsibility, and group dynamics. This course will explore the management functions and the areas of national and international business in which these are continually practiced.

The course is delivered asynchronously and does not include an assigned instructor. Learners are responsible for their own progress and may access the materials anytime between the course dates, moving through at their own pace. Though this course is asynchronous, self-paced, and based upon a complete/not complete grading scheme, you are provided with rubrics for self-assessment purposes and to share with a peer for feedback.

As you build your competencies, this course may also support your progress toward the Canadian Certified Administrative Professional (CCAP) or Certified in Management (CIM) designation.
